There are so many stretches to help alleviate that nagging low back pain.
If plan A or B doesn’t work, remember there are still 24 more letters in the alphabet, so keep searching for the ones that work for you.
Stability ball moves are a great way to get movement to the spine.
Moving the vertebrae helps increase the flow of blood and healing fluids that are needed to nourish and lubricate the discs. And, it is a great way to get rid of stiffness.
Back pain can have many causes, which I discuss in my previous post here.
But whatever the cause, the days of old where bed rest was the recommended healing process have evolved to movement to release tension and stimulate the surrounding muscles, nerves, and ligaments for relief of a painful back.

In addition to doing these stability ball moves, you can try icing the sore area, or perhaps heat will work better for you.
A mild pain reliever may be effective as well.
Once you feel better, concentrate on exercises that will help avert future episodes of back pain by working the muscles that support the spine, as well as developing strong hips and pelvic and abdominal muscles.

I tried your balance ball routine posted on youtube a few days ago and I really liked it. So I did it again the next day. At the end you said to let you know if we’d like more workouts on the balance ball, and I would. For now I am a fan of the balance ball and enjoy using it to workout with. I also subscribed!
